\"\"Practicing the Spanish r sound in a fun way isn’t difficult.<\/p>\n

In Spanish, there are two types of r:\u00a0 the multiple vibrante \/r\u0304\/<\/strong> and the simple vibrante \/r\/.<\/p>\n

Today, we’re going to get in touch with the multiple vibrante \/r\u0304\/,<\/strong> which is one of the phonemes that presents the most difficulty for Spanish-speaking students who are francophones, anglophones, lusophones, Germans, Italians, Chinese… And we’re going to do it with a tongue twister, which is a word game that helps improve linguistic skills and verbal agility.<\/p>\n

Instructions for pronouncing the multiple vibrante r correctly:<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. open your mouth<\/li>\n
  2. separate your teeth<\/li>\n
  3. place the tip of your tongue at the front of your palate and make it vibrate several times<\/li>\n
  4. put some patience and good humor into it… and we assure you that you’ll achieve it!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How is the multiple vibrant r written?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Between two vowels, we write rr<\/strong>\u00a0(cigarr<\/strong>a, carr<\/strong>o).<\/li>\n
    • At the beginning of a word, we write a single r<\/strong> (R<\/strong>osa R<\/strong>osales).<\/li>\n
    • After n<\/strong>, l,<\/strong> and s<\/strong>, we also write a single r<\/strong> (sonr<\/strong>ojar, alr<\/strong>ededor).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
