What are these courses like?
Our courses are designed according to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) curriculum, covering levels from A1 to C1.
We prepare you to improve your Spanish both personally and for official exams, such as the DELE from the Instituto Cervantes.
We identify your strengths and areas for improvement to ensure you achieve your personal goals. Classes are for groups of up to 4 people, guaranteeing more personalized attention.
Additionally, you can join our Monthly gathering in a small group, where you will converse with students from other countries and learn about cultural topics such as cinema, literature, art, music, traditions, gastronomy…
BASIC GROUP COURSE A1-A2
In accordance with the definition of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), «Students who have passed the basic level are able to understand frequently used phrases and expressions, related to areas of experience that are especially relevant to them (basic information about themselves and their family, shopping, places of interest, occupations, etc). It also knows how to communicate when carrying out simple and daily tasks that require nothing more than simple and direct exchanges of information on issues that are known to it and issues related to its immediate needs».
The minimum duration of this course is 5 months, extendable for an indefinite period until reaching the minimum communicative foundations required for this level.
The contents will be taught in 2 weekly sessions of 120 minutes.

INTERMEDIATE-LEVEL GROUP COURSE B1
According to the definition of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), pupil at level B1 is able to understand the main points of clear standard registration information on everyday issues normally found at work, at school, in leisure situations, etc. He is able to defend himself in most situations that may arise when travelling through an area where the language under study is spoken. He is capable of producing simple texts joined by connectors on everyday topics or of personal interest. He is able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and to give brief reasons and explanations concerning opinions and plans».
Level B1 consists of two courses: Intermediate B1.1 and Intermediate B1.2. The minimum duration established for the two blocks is 7 months, extendable for an indefinite period until reaching the minimum communicative foundations required for this level.
The contents will be taught in 2 weekly sessions of 120 minutes.

INTERMEDIATE-LEVEL GROUP COURSE B2
According to the definition of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), pupils at level B2 is able to understand the main points of a clear standard log information on everyday topics that are normally found at work, at school, in leisure situations, etc. It is able to defend itself in most situations that may arise when travelling in an area where the language under study is spoken. It is capable of producing simple texts joined by connectors on everyday topics or of personal interest. He is able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and to give brief reasons and explanations concerning opinions and plans».
Level B2 consists of two courses: Intermediate B2.1 and Intermediate B2.2. The minimum duration established for the two blocks is 6 months, extendable for an indefinite period until reaching the minimum communicative foundations required for this level.

GROUP COURSE AT ADVANCED LEVEL C1
In the CEFR, level C1 is called of Autonomy. To reach this level, student must be able to understand a wide variety of extensive oral and written texts and to be able to recognize implicit meanings.
He must be able to express himself fluently and spontaneously, make flexible and effective use of the language for social, academic and professional purposes and produce clear, well-structured and detailed texts on subjects of a certain complexity, showing a correct use of the mechanisms of organization, articulation and cohesion of the text.
The most notable difference between this level and the previous ones is the acquisition of a wide linguistic repertoire that allows a fluid and spontaneous communication. This greater ease of communication has to be based on the speech skills acquired at previous levels.
Autonomy in learning is another pillar of this level and should be high, since the student has the tools and knowledge to advance on his own, in addition to following the teaching instructions. Classroom practice will not be enough, so he should look for and take advantage of all the opportunities available to develop the skills acquired in the classroom.
